Retrofit of City of Oshawa Owned Facilities

In January 2010, an Energy and Building Improvement Study was conducted on the following City of Oshawa’s owned facilities:

• Legends Centre
• South Oshawa Community Centre
• Donevan Recreation Complex
• Centennial Pool
• Northview Community Centre
• Arts Resource Centre
• Fire Hall #1
• Fire Hall #2
• Fire Hall #3
• Fire Hall #4
• Fire Hall #5

The study determined that Energy Conservation Measures (ECM’s) were needed to be implemented at each location to greatly reduce energy usage.
